LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) – Researchers at UCLA say they've created a blood test that looks for 40 bio-markers that signal whether a patient has lung cancer or not.

They used a blood panel was able to correctly identify patients with the disease 88% of the time. Unfortunately, it's still too early to make this test widely available, but scientists say it's a good first step.
