Researchers say acupuncture may bring relief during breast cancer treatments

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) – Acupuncture may help relieve hot flashes, depression and other symptoms associated with breast cancer treatments. 

Researchers at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit compared the effects of acupuncture with an antidepressant commonly used to relieve those side effects.  After three months, both the drug and acupuncture were found to be helpful, but researchers say it was the acupuncture that worked better and longer.
