Monday is holiday for most, but not all in Lubbock

By James Clark | email

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Monday is a holiday but not everyone gets the day off.  Lubbock ISD students will be out of class to honor civil rights leader Martin Luther King.

By contrast, Frenship students will be in class, as will Lubbock-Cooper ISD students.  The City of Lubbock offices will be closed, along with the Lubbock County Courthouse.

The federal building and post offices will also be closed.
