Three men facing organized crimes charges

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Three men were arrested for allegedly trying to steal a car from a central Lubbock car lot.

The incident happened Tuesday around 2 a.m. at Pollard Ford on South Loop 289 and Indiana. A Lubbock police officer said he saw a man standing next to a vehicle in the Pollard parking lot. The officer went up to the man, and saw two others sitting in a Volkswagen Beetle.

All three men fled the scene when the officer tried to take them into custody. After they were located and arrested, officers found the suspects had several keys to different vehicles on the Pollard lot.

Bradley Kite-Powell, Tyson Earl, and Anthony Caughron, all 22-years-old, were arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, evading arrest and organized crime.

An investigation is ongoing.
