O'Donnell principal on paid administrative leave

O'DONNELL, TX (KCBD) - O'Donnell High School Principal Clay Burns is on paid administrative leave Wednesday.

According to a statement released by attorneys for the O'Donnell School Board and administration, the decision was in response to allegations that Burns was involved in "educator misconduct" while employed at another school district.

So far there is no indication that he was involved in any misconduct while employed at O'Donnell, but they say they will take appropriate action upon the completion of a thorough investigation.

O'Donnell is about 40 miles south of Lubbock on US 87.
