LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Lubbock ISD has a new tool to help parents be more involved in their children's education.
"It's a part of an overall emphasis and desire on the part of the board and this administration to look at new and different ways to be more effective in our communication with our public," says LISD Superintendent Dr. Karen Garza.
LISD unveiled a new website Thursday, that parents will be able to access to get important classroom information. The site includes tools to look up grades and attendance, contact teachers and administrators, and be notified of emergency alerts.
Each campus will have its own parent web site.
