LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - United Blood Services issues a critical appeal for Type O- blood. Due to the shortage, not all hospital orders will be filled, and there are currently no O- units on the shelves.
UBS is asking you to please come by and donate, all blood types are welcome. They are just experiencing a special need right now for type O negative. Remember, donors must be at least 16-years-old and in good health.
United Blood Services is located at 48th Street and University Avenue. Walk-ins are welcome, or you can call (806) 797-6804 to make an appointment.
