United Blood Services in dire need of specific blood type

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - If someone needs blood in Lubbock in the near future they might not be able to receive it.

United Blood Services issued a critical appeal for donors on Friday, after exhausting their supply of O-negative blood. Other types are running low as well.

So if you would like to help out, you can stop by the blood donation center located at 48th and University, or you can call the center at 797-6804 to make an appointment.
