Weekend fender bender leads to shooting

LUBBOCK, TX(KCBD)- The hunt continues for the suspect involved in a shooting in northwest Lubbock over the weekend.

Police say someone rear-ended 20-year-old Michael Napper's car at the Taco Bell on 4th and Frankford just before midnight Friday.

He pulled into the Walmart parking lot to inspect the damage, when the other driver came up and shot him in the back.

Napper was taken to UMC where he was treated and released.

The suspect is described as a tall, slender man, with a dark complexion and short, spiky hair. He was last scene driving a silver Honda four door vehicle. The suspect was traveling with a woman in a "Hooters" t-shirt.
