LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - New developments in the search for the suspect accused of shooting a Lubbock man in a Wal-Mart parking lot. Lubbock Police arrested Sultan Adnan Al-Bizri, 22 on Friday.

Al-Bizri is now charged with the shooting of Devon Napper, 20 last Friday at the Wal-Mart near 4th Street and Frankford Avenue. A tip to Crime Line led police to start a surveillance operation on Al-Bizri Friday afternoon. Detectives later arrested him for unlawful carrying of a weapon.

Investigators say that gun did not appear to be the one used in the shooting, but authorities found another firearm at Al-Bizri's home that they believe he used to shoot Napper five times in the back. Al-Bizri remained jailed Saturday night, charged with aggravated assault, weapons, and drug charges. He's held on a $500,000 bond.
