LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The 2010 Texas Tech vs. Texas football game has been moved from its scheduled late-season matchup to September 18th for a prime-time, national television broadcast. No time has been set for the early Big 12 matchup.
It will be the first Big 12 game for new Red Raider Head Coach Tommy Tuberville. He succeeded Mike Leach, who was fired December 30th.
The game was also moved up last season following the Red Raiders' 39-33 win over the Longhorns in 2008. Texas beat Texas Tech 34-24 in Austin on September 19th.
