(KCBD) - Up by one at halftime, the Texas Tech Lady Raiders couldn't hold onto the lead losing their fourth straight game at the hands of #11 Oklahoma, 70-66. Tech out shot the Sooners in both field goal and three point shooting percentage, but managed only 47.1 percent from the free throw line.
Senior guard Jordan Murphree led the Lady Raiders with 28 points on 10-18 shooting including 2-4 from the three point line. Freshman guard Monique Smalls was the only other player in double figures with 11.
The loss now drops Texas Tech to 13-7 and 1-5 in Big 12 play. The Lady Raiders now start a four out of five game road trip on Wednesday in Ames, Iowa taking on the 22nd ranked Iowa State Cyclones. Tip-off for the game is scheduled for 7pm.
