LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - As part of ongoing March 2nd Primary Election coverage, NewsChannel 11 would like to introduce you to the two local candidates for State Board Of Education. The incumbent is Lubbock lawyer Bob Craig, who was first elected to the post in November 2002. He's well-respected statewide and he is considered to be a moderate.
His opponent believes he's too moderate. Randy Rives of Odessa has gained statewide recognition for successfully lobbying to get a Bible class in the Ector County School District.
