Texas Tech faculty kick off Black History Month

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Saturday evening, the Black Faculty and Staff Association for Texas Tech and the Health Sciences Center celebrated Black History Month.

They honored Alfred and Billie Caviel for years of community service as Lubbock's first African American pharmacists. They owned and operated Caviel's Pharmacy for 49 years.
