County Commissioners take up four budget amendments Monday morning. The largest amendment is a $289,283.00 amendment for the Lubbock County Medical Examiner's office.
The money will hire a second forensic pathologist and a forensic nurse. The County will also consider a contract that would allow senior citizens who are sponsored by Senior Service America Inc. to work in various county offices at no cost to Lubbock County. Commissioners will also consider replacing AT&T with NTS Communications for the county's Internet service.
