LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A Littlefield man will spend the next five years behind bars for planning to rob a bank. US District Judge Sam Cummings sentenced 50 year old Terry Foley, of Littlefield, to 57 months in federal prison without parole.
Foley pleaded guilty last November to one count of bank robbery. Last September, an Abilene police officer noticed Foley in an American State Bank, with note that demanded money and threatened violence.
Though he did not actually rob the bank - he violated the United States Bank Robbery Statute by entering the bank intending to commit a felony.
