Two Gaines County men arraigned on murder charges

GAINES COUNTY, TX (KCBD) - Two men from Gaines County have been arraigned on murder charges Tuesday morning.

The two men are in the Gaines County Jail suspected in a morning murder in Seminole.

Authorities found 51-year-old Abram Klassen beaten to death on Monday at his home near Seminole. Investigators say 26-year-old Juan Klassen, Abram's nephew, and 24-year-old David Redecop attacked Abram Sunday night, believing he allegedly touched one of their girlfriends.

Investigators believe the incident started at a Super Bowl party, and it was after the men took Abram home, that he was beaten to death.

Both men remain in the Gaines County Jail, each on a $500,000 bond.
