Local businessman running for City Council Dist. 1 seat

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - One day after Councilwoman Linda DeLeon announced she would not seek re-election, a candidate is running for District 1.

Local businessman, Glen Robertson, officially filed his candidacy on Tuesday morning. Robertson owns Robertson Bonded Warehouse and Hillcrest Country Club.

Former District 1 Councilman Victor Hernandez says he will also run for the District 1 seat.

The City Council election will be held in May.
