LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - At Tuesday's City Council meeting, Mayor Tom Martin officially announced his bid for re-election.
"I have said many times over the last year that I will run for a second term as mayor. I made it official yesterday by filing my papers with the City Secretary, and paying the filing fee. I'm looking forward to a second term as mayor. We have many projects underway in Lubbock, not the least of which is the Lake Alan Henry Pipeline Project," said Martin.
The City election will take place in May.
