Lynn County Deputies looking for a masked suspect

LYNN COUNTY, TX (KCBD) - The search is on for an armed home invasion suspect.

Lynn County Sheriff Jerry Franklin tells NewsChannel 11 a masked man broke into a home late Tuesday where there was an altercation between the suspect and a 16-year-old male resident. There were also two elementary age children in the home. The resident told deputies he thought the suspect had a gun at the time of the altercation.

The suspect was last seen fleeing westbound, but officers in Lubbock County were warned to be on the lookout for an armed and dangerous suspect. Franklin describes him as wearing a gray ski mask, black leather jacket, and gray sweat pants, and possibly armed with a handgun. The man might have been driving white pickup, possibly a Chevy.

If you have any information, call Crime Line at (806)741-1000 or the Lynn County Sheriff's Office at (806) 561-4505.
