Double Robbery Has Police Still Searching For Suspect

Lubbock Police are looking for one man who robbed two convenience stores early Saturday morning. The first was at 7-11 in the 6100 Block of 19th Street. The man was wearing a white towel to cover his face. Police say he stole a $5 in rolled up pennies

Fifteen minutes later police say the same man robbed the EZ Mart in the 5500 Block of 4th Street. This time he told the clerk to open the cash register and the thief took an unknown amount of money.

The suspect is described as a black man about five feet nine inches tall weighing 200 pounds.
