Accolade Home Care hosts free heart screening

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) – Accolade Home Care is hosting its annual Heart Healthy Awareness Screening, Thursday, February 11th at Monterey Baptist Church.  Just in a quick stop, you can be checked for multiple things and it is all for free.

"It's a 7 point panel screening. We'll do their blood pressure, heart rate, SBO2 and their body weight," said Jody Lewis, a sales executive with Accolade Home Care.  "We have a total cholesterol screening that we'll be doing that's non-fasting, as well as check their blood sugar."

The screening will be taking place Thursday from 10 am to 2 pm at the Monterey Baptist Church, which is located at 3601 50th Street.
