LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A Lubbock grand jury indicts a Snyder man for collecting child pornography. The indictment says Wesley Ray Haddox collected images and Internet movies of underage girls who were abused in sadistic or masochistic ways. The computer file names listed in the indictment seem to indicate that the girls were as young as 7. Haddox faces eight felony charges including "possession of child pornography."
In a completely separate case, the same Lubbock federal grand jury on Wednesday indicted four people for drafting fake checks on Lubbock banks. The checks were passed at various Lubbock businesses and the face value of all the checks listed in the indictment is more than $6,000. Benjamin Vasquez, Catherine Glover, Sylvia Gonzales, and Roberto Garcia are all indicted for conspiracy and other charges.
