Amherst couple charged with burglaries across 5 counties

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - An Amherst couple is arrested in connection with burglaries in five South Plains counties.

Troy Kirk, 43, and Kelly Jo Peercy, 51, are charged with multiple counts of burglary. Investigators believe the two were involved in burglaries in Hockley, Lubbock, Dawson, Terry, and Hale counties.

Hockley and Lubbock County sheriff's deputies arrested the couple after watching them burglarize a cabinet shop in Shallowater.
