Type O Negative at urgent low level at United Blood Services

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Despite continued appeals, the blood type O Negative at United Blood Services continues to be at an urgent low level. All O Negative donors are asked to make an extra effort to donate.

All blood types are needed. To donate blood, you must be at least 16-years-old and be in good health. To make an appointment, call UBS at 806-797-6804.

The blood center is located at 48th and University. They are open:

  • Monday 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday 9:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
  • Thursday 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
  • Friday 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
  • Saturday 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
