Sheriff's deputies find stolen rifles in canyon lake

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Lubbock County Sheriff's Deputies pull seven stolen rifles out of a Canyon Lake this week.

The rifles were found near a dam on MLK. Investigators say the guns are from an October 2nd home burglary, in the 5400 block of County Road 7330, where 12 weapons were taken. Officials started searching the lakes after a resident found a rifle there in January.

Investigators are looking for any information about the burglary, or the rifles. Officials urge anyone with information to call Crime Line at (806) 741-1000. You can remain anonymous.
