LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - An afternoon wreck at west Loop 289 and 19th Street backed up traffic in the northbound lanes for about a mile Saturday afternoon. Southbound lanes were also backed up.

Police report one vehicle slammed into the guardrail, while another vehicle hit debris that looks to have fallen off the back of a trailer. Authorities say two people suffered non-life threatening injuries.
