LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) – A San Antonio man is charged with bringing counterfeit money to Lubbock.
A Local secret service agent writes in court records that officials caught David Oved Valenzuela bringing a $5,000 package of counterfeit 100-dollar bills to Lubbock in November of 2009. Local secret service agents confronted Valenzuela a few days later and court records say he admitted possessing the counterfeit money.
An arrest warrant was issued Friday. Court records do not say if he has been arrested yet.
