Delta Airlines adding flight to Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Beginning May 3rd, Delta Air Lines will be adding another flight from Lubbock to Memphis, Tennessee.

This will be a third flight from Lubbock to Memphis. Delta Air Lines returned to the Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport in April 2009 to provide two direct commercial flights daily to/from Lubbock to Memphis.

James Loomis, Assistant City Manager and Director of Aviation for the City of Lubbock, says, "Delta's addition of a third flight is great for Lubbock, and enhances our role as the Hub City."
