The price of gas in Lubbock continues to go down.  Newschannel 11 found gas prices at about $1.39 across Lubbock.  That's down almost 10 cents from just last Friday.

Local experts contribute the low prices to two factors.  One, the Coalition Forces are finding fewer sabotaged oil fields in Iraq than they expected.  And two, the oil strike in Venezuela is over.
