LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The New Mexico bounty hunter who fatally shot a Plainview man last week is now out on bail.
41-year-old Jarrod Flaming posted a $75,000 bond and was released from the Hale County Jail on Sunday.
Plainview police say he and another man went to take 31-year-old Derek Graves into custody for a drug warrant in Potter County. Police say that is when the suspect jumped out of a back window and ran down an alley, when he was shot with a 9mm handgun.
They also say Flaming did not have a license to conduct his business in Texas.
