It was good clean fun at Scottish Rite Hospital, when Hollywood the pig jumped in the tub to get pretty for a special delivery.
The Soroptimists of Lubbock are getting 15 precious pig pals ready for their annual "Pig Out," which comes April 1st, next Tuesday. This year, the fundraiser will benefit Scottish Rite Learning Center and the South Plains chapter of the American Red Cross.
"We'll go around town delivering the pigs. You have to pay a fine to have the pig passed on to the next person of your choice, or pay to have the pig removed, or buy pig protection insurance up front, to make sure the pig does not appear at your door April 1st," says Judy Helm, Soroptimist V.P.
For $25, you can set up a pig visit on April Fools Day. To arrange a "Pig Out" or to buy insurance to protect against the little guy squealing at your door, you can call (806) 788-2819.
