Source: Plainview Daily HeraldPLAINVIEW, TX (KCBD) - Slick road conditions are blamed for a fatal accident near Plainview around 6 p.m. Monday night.
DPS troopers say 19-year-old Isaac Contreras of Tulia lost control of his pickup around 6 p.m. Monday night on I-27, near the Wal-mart Distribution Center.
The truck rolled over and came to a stop against a guardrail. Authorities say Contreras was not wearing a seatbelt, and was pinned between the vehicle and the guardrail. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger, 20-year-old Marcus Aguayo, also of Tulia, was treated for minor injuries.
