LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Police say a Dallas man who robbed a Lubbock Cash America Pawn shop at gun point around Thanksgiving is now behind bars.

U.S. Marshall's in Dallas arrested 32-year-old Keenon Jones. He is behind bars in the Dallas County Jail where officers are serving him with a warrant for aggravated robbery out of Lubbock.

Jones is also charged with taking thousands of dollars worth of jewelry from three Cash America Pawn shops in the Metroplex.

Police allege the suspect was trying to sell stolen goods to a company in Florida.

"This company received a few large shipments and in their evaluation believed they came from perhaps Cash America. They contacted Cash America with their suspicions," says Captain Greg Stevens of the Lubbock Police Department.

That tip led police to the stolen jewelry. So far more than $50,000 in jewels have been recovered.
