LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) – A daily cup of Joe could help protect you from a stroke.

British researchers looked at the health history and coffee consumption of over 22,000 men and women between the ages of 40 and 80. They found regular coffee consumption reduced their risk for stroke by nearly a third.  The findings were the same no matter what type of coffee, instant, ground, regular or decaffeinated.

The findings were presented to the European Society of Cardiology.
