AMS hosts Severe Weather Awareness Day

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The American Meteorological Society wants to help you to get prepared for severe weather season. They will host the 4th Annual Severe Weather Awareness Day at the Science Spectrum from 11 A.M. until 5 P.M. Saturday.

The event will include games, activities, and demonstrations designed to help families understand the basics of severe weather safety.

KCBD NewsChannel 11's John Robison will also be there to help answer questions. The event is free and open to the public.
