One critically injured in three car accident in Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A Lubbock driver is in critical condition after a three vehicle collision Monday morning.

Police tell NewsChannel 11 that just before 11:00 a.m. Monday, a gold Ford was westbound on the access road at Marsha Sharp Freeway and Slide road when it collided with a white Toyota Highlander that was going northbound on Slide Road.

Both vehicles then slid into a third vehicle stopped at the intersection. Accident investigators are trying to determine who was at fault.

NewsChannel 11 does know that a 39-year-old woman driving the gold Ford suffered life threatening injuries and EMS took her to University Medical Center.

Everyone else refused treatment.
