Odessa Man Dies In Lubbock County Car Collision - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

An Odessa man died Monday morning in an accident in South Lubbock County. Around 10:15 DPS troopers say a Chevy pickup and a Susuki collided at 114th Street and Highway 87. Corporal John Gonzales says the driver of the Susuki did not stop at a stop sign and was T-boned by the truck.

Fifty-one year old passenger Ruben Galindo of Odessa died at the scene. EMS took two others from the car to University Medical Center with serious injuries.

The driver of the truck was not injured.
