LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - University Medical Center hopes to raise $26-million in bonds in order to finish an addition to the hospital, but they need the county's approval first. They'll present their request to Commissioner's Court on Monday at 10 a.m.
The County Commissioners must approve the bonds, but because they are revenue bonds the hospital must pay them back, not the county.
