LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The trial of the man authorities say could be behind a string of local sexual assaults will begin on Wednesday.
Thirty-three year old Timothy Barbian was charged in 2008 with aggravated kidnapping and sexual assault, after Lubbock investigators say he kidnapped two women and tried to rape them.
A third woman was able to escape. Investigators believe Barbian could be responsible for similar assaults dating back to 2006. His trial will take place in the 137th District Court.
