Lawyers question key players in Leach lawsuit

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Attorneys began questioning key players in the Mike Leach lawsuit Thursday. Leach's legal team spent the day talking to Chancellor Kent Hance.

Friday morning at 9 a.m. former Coach Mike Leach will also be questioned by Texas Tech lawyers. All of the statements will be videotaped. The university fired leach December 30th - two days after suspending him amid allegations he mistreated Tech receiver Adam James.

James and his father, ESPN analyst Craig James are scheduled to give their statements under oath on Saturday.

A brief filed by Texas Tech about Leach's legal team requesting documents from Frenship ISD about any contact current Coach Tuberville's family had with the district before he was hired and a statement from Leach's lawyers.
