A warm up is on the horizon

LUBBOCK, TX(KCBD)- As the work week slowly comes to an end, we can also say goodbye to the cold afternoon tempertures; at least for a few days. This morning, skies will be clear with light winds and cold temperatures to start off, by this afternoon skies will be sunny, with light winds and warmer temperatures. For tonight skies will remain clear with evening temperatures being seasonably cold for this time of year.

Saturday will be a good day for afternoon activities with sunny skies, light breezes and warmer temperatures expected.

Daylight Savings Time begins at 2:00 a.m. Sunday, set time pieces ahead one hour.

Sunday skies will be partly cloudy, with warmer temperatures through the day and a slight chance of rain by the evening.

As the work week starts up again on Monday there are scattered rain showers/thunderstorms forecasted.
