Eight in custody after Levelland drug bust

LEVELLAND, TX (KCBD) -

LEVELLAND, TX (KCBD) - After a five month investigation, the Levelland Police Department, Narcotics Unit, arrested six suspected drug dealers on Wednesday.

Levelland Police were looking for ten suspects. Two of them, a man and his wife, were already in jail, and two remain at large. Six suspects were arrested without incident in the Alamo Trailer park in Levelland. Peace officers found residue of methamphetamine at one or more of the homes.

The suspects in custody are: 47-year-old Steven Nolan Dewett, 45-year-old Cynthia Miller, 44-year-old Jarl Jensey Vanness, 47-year-old Michael George Miller, 27-year-old Demetra D. Mitchell, 46-year-old Ruben Soliz Guajardo, 45-year-old Charlton Kirk Altman and 42-year-old William Robert Rice.

They face possession with intent to deliver, which is a felony drug charge.
