The Nazareth Swifts are returning to the State Championship game in 1A Division 2 after beating Defending Champ #1 Slocum 57-48.

Nazareth won the State title in 2007 and 2008 but lost in the Title game last year to Slocum, so Friday's win was redemption for the Swifts. Nazareth was led by Sid Sheffy's 18, Clint Huseman chipped in 15 Sage Black added 13. 

#2 Nazareth now meets #15 Grady for the 1A Division II State Championship at 7pm tomorrow night making it a busy day for our area teams as all 3 boys teams will play for titles. #3 Estacado and #1 Dallas Madison play 10am for the 3A title and Idalou and #2 Ponder tip at 2pm.
