Driver charged with DWI following accident

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A late night accident in southwest Lubbock injures two, and sends the driver to jail for DWI.  KCBD, NewsChannel 11 is still gathering details on this accident.

Lubbock Police tell us they arrested the driver of a pick-up after they rear-ended a semi around 11 p.m. Friday at Spur 327 and Milwaukee Avenue. Accident investigation was called to the scene.

Authorities say two passengers in the pick-up suffered injuries.  EMS took one to the hospital in serious condition.

Police say the driver of the pickup was not injured, but they did arrest him for DWI. No names have been released at this point.
