Austin, TX (KCBD) - Redemption! 364 days after losing the 3A State Title in overtime, Estacado beat the team that beat them, Dallas Madison, to win the Championship 69 - 63.

Estacado trailed by 5 in the first but took over in the 2nd and early third going on a 12 to 0 run to lead by 11. Clarence Willard hit a 3 right before the halftime buzzer to lead 33 to 25 at the half.

Madison responded with a run of their own to cut the Mats lead to two but unlike last year the Mats hit their free throws to clinch their first state title. Clarence Williard had 23 while future Red Raider Kevin Wagner had 13. Willard was named the MVP. The Matadors finish 33 - 4.

They're the first Lubbock school to win a state title since Lubbock did in 1951.

Sage Black scored 24 points and Nazareth won its fifth state championship since 2002 with a 52-43 win over Lenorah Grady in the Class 1A Division II final.

Ryan Birkenfeld added 11 points for Nazareth (30-7), which returned to the state tournament after losing in the 2009 final. Dylan Cox scored 25 for Lenorah Grady (34-6). Nazareth scored 44-27 in the fourth before Cox scored nine in an 11-2 run that cut the lead to eight. Sage Black's layup for Nazareth pushed the lead back to 48-38 with two minutes to play.

Nazareth held Lenorah Grady to 29 percent shooting.
