Texas Watch is Watching Out For Consumers

Texas Watch is watching out for your interests. The Consumer Advocates group is calling on the Texas House and Senate to oppose House Bill Four.

The group expressed its opinion about the bill with a burned up Mitsubishi Montero sport in front of the Lubbock County courthouse. A Plainview woman died after suffering burns in an accident, her family claims was caused by defective parts.

Texas Watch Executive Director Dan Lambe says House Bill Four would prevent families from settling claims with companies of defective products. "You either stand on one side with Texas Consumers, with Texas families or you stand on the other side with insurance companies, makers of dangerous defective products and other wealthy special interests."
