A Lubbock teen turns himself in for a 2007 crime

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A Lubbock teen has turned himself in to the Lubbock Police Department for a 2007 crime.

19-year-old Ivan Pauda is charged with burglary of a habitation, with the intent to commit sexual assault.

Pauda was indicted last year for the robbery of the Town and Country convenience store on the Clovis Highway.

Pauda's own parents recognized him from the surveillance video shown on television an later turned their son into authorities.

Pauda will be held at the Lubbock Co. Juvenile Justice Center because the crime was committed when he was a minor.
