Lubbock police cancel one attempt to locate from Wednesday

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - On Wednesday, Lubbock Police issued two attempt to locate cases and asked for the public's assistance in finding these suspects. On Thursday afternoon, one of those was cancelled.

On Wednesday, the Lubbock Police Department provided NewsChannel 11 a picture and description of a woman that was a suspect that cashed a stolen check and forged the victim's signature at Bank of America on Main Street. On Thursday afternoon, the Police Department told us "these photos were erroneously provided to the police department."

However, police are still searching for a man who was seen on the surveillance camera at Target on the Marsha Sharp Freeway. Police say he went into the store, took two GPS units, and left without paying. He is described as a bald black man, wearing a white t-shirt with a green or gray shirt over khaki pants, with light colored shoes.
