Shallowater Students: We "Can" Beat Hunger

Shallowater High School is taking a can do approach to fighting hunger in Lubbock County. The student council sponsored a battle of the cans food drive this week. Friday they loaded up all their hard work in front of the school.

They collected about 3,000 cans from other Shallowater schools and the community. The cans will go to the South Plains Food Bank.
